This battery is spread over the plateau were Hanstholm is located at. You have to be aware that this Stützpunkt is mixed up in the field with the Infantery Stützpunkt and some smaller one's too. So you have to look carefully what and where you are making pictures off.
The famous Museum Center Hanstholm is part of this Stützpunkt and is situated in the gun bunker number 3. The museum itself is really good and interesting to visit and from here you can enter the very nicely restored S75 and S80 bunkers with an impression of how it must have been during the war.
This is the big battery that makes Hansholm so special in the Atlantikwall, equipped with four 38cm AKC34 ship guns. The guns where placed in bunkers of type S75 emplacement with ammunition stores, together with a S80 with waiting- and machinery rooms. The batteries task was to protect and to defend the entrance to the Ostsee together with the heavy gun batteries located at the Norwegian coast at the other side of the water.
